Can’t find WIFI

I have a dell Inspiron i5 running Windows 10 and whenever I take my laptop with me to another place with a different WiFi network my computer will stop searching for WiFi all together. It just gives me the disconnected from Ethernet symbol and I don’t even have the option to look for WiFi. Any fixes?

Check in Device Manager to make sure the WiFi adapter is working with no issues. Make sure the WiFi is enabled in the BIOS.

It may also have a button that you have to press to turn the WIFI on
