Hello, i got used bundle of
Mobo: gigabyte ab350 gaming 3
Cpu; r5 1600x
16 ram
When I installed the driver an error pops up that said “ The Realtek Network Controller was not found. If Deep Sleep Mode is enabled Please Plug the Cable”
And the driver doesn’t shows up in the device manger so i can’t get to the driver and change the settings.
I tried to install chipset and reset the bios but it didn’t work.
Is anyone familiar with this problom?
And is buying a network pci card will help?

does Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller show up as that is what you select

Prevent Your Adapter from Getting into Sleep Mode
“The Realtek Network Controller was not found if Deep Sleep Mode is enabled please plug the cable” error appears since the network adapter is in sleep mode. To get rid of the error, you can change the Sleep Mode setting to prevent the adapter from getting into Sleep Mode.

Step 1: Also, you need to launch Device Manager.

Step 2: Double-click Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller.

Step 3: Under the Power Management tab and uncheck the box of Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power.

after installing the realtek network controller it doesn’t shows up on network adapters
I can’t do what the guid you send tells to do because as a result that the driver doesn’t show up i can’t enter the settings of it.

Do you have the latest bios? https://www.gigabyte.com/au/Motherboard/GA-AB350-Gaming-3-rev-1x/support#support-dl-bios

you could reset bios to defaults as maybe prior owner changed something?

Your bios has these menus for LAN
NetWork Stack Driver Support- this is for booting off lan
LAN PXE Boot Option ROM - is also for booting off LAN
Network Stack - Disables or enables booting from the network to install a GPT format OS, such as installing the OS from the Windows Deployment Services server. (Default: Disabled)
Wake on LAN - Enables or disables the wake on LAN function. (Default: Enabled)

but none that appear to actually disable the onboard LAN chip unless I missed it - https://download.gigabyte.com/FileList/Manual/mb_manual_ga-ab350-gaming3_e.pdf

I would think another LAN card would fix it but lets see if we can get this working first.

open system information
in the left column, open components/Problem devices. Anything here?
Anything show under network?

hey, thank you very much for your help
I tried to look on the problem devices but there is not something.
And under network adapters steal the realtek adapter doesn’t there, but there are some other adapters under network adapters like Microsoft kernel debug, wan miniport
