Question Can’t launch windows off new SSD

I recently got a 970 evo plus m.2 ssd and I can’t seem to get windows to start up off my ssd. I installed windows onto the ssd and I know it’s there because I can see that space is taken up (I actually downloaded it twice). When I go into the BIOS I can’t set the SSD as the #1 boot option u less all the HDDs (2 of them one that is 1tb and another that’s 4tb) are plugged in. I tried to launch it without the HDDs plugged in and it instantly brought me into BIOS which makes me think that it isn’t launching off the SSD in the first place. I have tried loads of things and don’t really know what I’m doing but even downloading windows onto the SSD gave me issues and errors.

Installed. It seems like I got it to run off my SSD now but I don’t have any network adapters in this new SSD so I’m trying to figure that out now😅
