Can’t overclock my q6600

I’m trying to overclock my q6600 but everything I do seems to have no impact on it because everytime I boot up it just boots up at the default settings is there any answer for this?

It depends on your motherboard. There are several ways to do it. But sometimes you can't. We need more info. MB Make, Model, and revison, BIOS version too.

My motherboard is a Ga-g41m-es2l I have the newest bios version and I’m just trying to get it to 3.0ghz I know it can be done

You just need the Q6600 tapemod. The 2nd picture.
