Question Can’t use 3 or 4 sticks of ram at the same time

I can’t seem to use more than 2 sticks of ram at the same time, i checked the bios and all of the ram slots seem fine. I tried swapping and all slots works. Also the ram is from the same set
 
you can try a pair of sticks at a time with Memtest86...

Ideally, RAM should come from a 4 sticks matched set in order to work, not simply be a pair of sticks of same type...

Most motherboards operate at reduced RAM clock speeds/and or more relaxed timings when operating with 4 sticks compared to 2...

Last but not least, sometimes a RAM slot (or pair) will refuse to work due to a bent pin on CPU or in MB socket, depending on which CPU/MB you have...
