[SOLVED] Can 2gb 400mhz RAM runs on 667 or 800 mhz compatible motherboard ?

I was trying to upgrade RAM for my pc, in between that I looked into hardware details with hwinfo app, my RAM clocks speed shows 400mhz but my motherboard spec says 667 or 800mhz supportable. Is it possible to run 400mhz RAM in 667 or 800 mhz supported motherboard ?

DDR stands for double data rate. 400 actual, 800 effective. You are running at 800. You could run a lower speed but you don't want to.
