[SOLVED] Can 970 Evo Plus work with ASrock z87m extreme 4 motherboard?

So me being the dumbass i am ordered the SSD without checking compatibility with my mother board.
Anyways can they work together? Do i need an adaptor?
Any help would be appreciated.

That board has no M.2 port.
So, you'd need a PCIe adapter.
But, even with that adapter, you can't use this as the OS drive. System won't boot from it.

Return it and get a SATA III drive.
