can a 1150 chip set fit into a 1151 motherboard slot

im going to be getting a intel i7 4790k and i was looking for a motherboard and found a motherboard that fits my needs but it is lga 1151 and my 4790k is lga 1150

The two sockets are completely different and will not work if you put them together. If you get your CPU to fit, it will almost certainly die.
