Can a 1920x1080 monitor have clear picture with VGA connection?

Some say the picture can be blurry, some say there will be noise. Others say it's crystal clear. What is your experience with VGA and full HD monitors?

P.S. I got a Radeon HD4830 with DVI and VGA, just noticed monitors with DVI cost extra 20% and I'm on a tight budget

A friend of my use a vga for his monitor(1920x1080) and the image quality is very good, he watch HD movies play games no problems.

By the way does the quality depend on manufacturer? I have read a lot of reviews about LG 21,5" and 23" Full HD VGA-only monitors that claim picture to be perfect. Reviews about some other monitors say DVI works clear, VGA blurrs a little...

Use HDMI. i have a 37" Samsumg HDTV with windows 7 running at 1920x1080 with my ATI 4850. i've used component, VGA and HDMI, and nothing is clearer than HDMI right now. Also HDMI cable are the only cables that are HDCP compatable
