Can a 2 amp setup blow my alternator?

I have a Boss PF2600 2600W bridged amp powering an MTX TNE212D 1200w dual subwoofer and another 600W Kicker amp powering a pair of Pioneer 6x9 speakers (TS-A6996R, 650W). Is this setup enough to blow my alternator or mess with my battery? I have a 1983 Cutlass and want to make sure the stock alternator and battery can handle it.

Solution
Get a volt-meter ($20), ask someone to keep it connected to the battery. Start the car, see the voltage (it should read something like 13 volts). Rev up the engine, turn on your amps, pumpkin up, and check the voltage again. If it is way below 13 volts, you have to dial down the volume.
