Can a 430 watt supply run Geforce gtx660 ti?

So i'm building my own pc and i recently bought this 2gb graphics card and on the manual it said it needs 500 watt power supply but i only have a 430 watt, can it run it will it break or something?? please help.

I would not run that, when a power supply goes, it can kill your whole system,

Depends on the quality of the power supply. With something like a Corsair CX430 you'll be perfectly fine, but not some Diablotek.

even with Corsair, I would not do it. I would say 46 minimum and even then that is just not a great idea. how much are you really saving?

Just used that as an example, since CX is a popular 430W PSU. There's also the EVGA 430W 80+ as well. Either of these would be able to run a GTX 660Ti system at stock speeds. Heck, the Alienware 51 can run with the non-Ti version, using an external power brick.

It can work, but it it is not worth the stress on the PSU, getting a 460 watt or a 500 watt PSU is a much better idea.
