I thought the answer was yes but someone on an untrustworthy forum is saying no way can a 4770K handle 2 or 3 cards due to its pci specs (which I don't understand...I'm a noob)

my i repeat myself that cpu is not a sli/crossfire cpu its shit. read its Intel info.
i can say for sure that the 4770k is crap for a high end gaming pc and it can only run one 16x pcie slot so sli/crossfire is not going to happen not even a gpu and a network card or sound card with that cpu. dont belive me read its info. LOL to those that have one

Expansion Options
PCI Express Revision 3.0
PCI Express Configurations Up to 1x16, 2x8, 1x8/2x4
# of PCI Express Lanes 16."
So help me out please Toms community. Is this dude a retard? Is a 4770K perfectly suitable for a high end gaming rig with SLI and a sound card? I don't understand all this pci stuff x16, lanes etc.
Thanks
