I really want the new Fire Stick with the faster processor. I have the light which isn't 4k but my TV is 4k. So my connection won't allow 4K without buffering to the point where you throw the remote at the screen. That said, can I set it to not stream in 4K and get the benefits of the faster stick? Thank you much!

Pretty sure you can set the resolution manually to 1080, not sure about the streaming options if you want the display to be in 4k but the videos to play in 1080.
But you said the Firestick you have is not 4k, so it won't run in 4k. Just because the TV is 4k, the Firestick would still be running at 1080 unless it's a 4k capable device.
