Can a 500W PSU power a GTX 275?

So I have http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817341016
as a PSU.

Oddly, newegg gave me a GTX 275 in addition to the GPU I ordered for no reason (Most likely packaging error)

However, I don't think the PSU will be able to power it.

Any thoughts?

It should be able to power the card without any issues, but it also depend what else is in your PC.

The GTX 275 with any Quad Core CPU, a few hard hard drives and a couple of optical drives should not be a problem unless you intend on doing some massive OC'ing.

If you really wanna be safe you could simply use the GPU you originally ordered and give me the GTX 275.

I'll pay for shipping.

PS: I don't have a discrete sound card mine's integrated so I didn't plug in some of the ones that said "audio" in the mobo port descriptions.

Did you connect the two 6-pin power connections?

Does it power up with the original card you ordered?

That your pc won't powert up, doesn't mean that your PSU isn't enough. Do you try with another PSU? The 500W of your PSU are more that enough for your rig.
