I just recently picked up a 3060ti to upgrade my old build however, I'm concerned my 500w power supply wont be able to handle the new card. I'm upgrading from a GTX950 and my power supply is about 5 years old.

PSU make and model (or part number) is? Also, was the PSU bought new or used/refurbished?

But short answer is: No.

For RTX 3060 Ti and while factoring in GPU transient power spikes, 650W PSU would do.

Btw, what the rest of your hardware is? Since when you have 100+W CPU, then PSU wattage would go up to 750W unit.
