I want to buy a new card but I'm not sure if my PSU can handle the 3070. On the PSU calculator it said that i only needed a ~450w psu but i doubt that, maybe I wasn't using the calculator right. So should I go with a 3060 ti or 3070?
My current specs:

-Ryzen 7 3700x not oc
-RX 580 8gb
-Asrock b450m/ac
-EVGA 600w GD
-4 LED 12mm fans
-Sata SSD & HDD

Actually if you read the small print they recommend 650w when running a 10900k cpu which can easily take 100w more than a 3700x. They also acknowledge a lower rating may work for other configurations.

I don't know anything about the quality of that psu but a high quality 600w would run a 3070 and 3700x. I'm running a 3080 with 3700X (PBO on) on a high quality 650w with no issues. Under stress testing it doesn't go over 550w usage.

If you actually have a choice you are very lucky. Both of those cards are very difficult to find at the moment.

Can you find either card?

The calcs should get you close, some cards pull more than others. Google says 3070 is 220 watts.

I really like 750W/850 for the headroom for most builds when I help people do builds. Too bad power supplies and video cards are bonkers.
