Can a 7200 rpm drive work with a ps4?

My PS4 still has the stock HDD, so, I want to replace it with a 7200 RPM hard drive instead and put the stock one in my PC as extra storage. Yeah no problem with that. Many people have already done this to decrease load times. You can even fit a SSD if you wanted.
