the one I am going to buy is the link below but it has only 2 pcie cable when I also need to power my two riser for the two 3070ti
750 watt psu
750 watt psu
It's about the cables. With 290w I prefer 2 seperate cables to each GPU.but I assume even at 290watts each the 850 watt can handle it
Brand and model?different psu.
Hello ueharajohji. In that case, then it depends. Personally I wouldn't connect that cheap power supply to my GPUs. If you're using them to render or export projects, and plan on keeping your GPUs long term, then I would suggest a higher quality unit. However, if you're using the GPUs to mine crypto currency, then you'll probably want to compare the cost to a higher quality PSU, and see if the numbers are still profitable enough for you, with the added cost of a high quality unit. If not then take your chances with the power supply that you've already selected.I'm only going to power my 2gpu and 2riser. with this. All other components is connected to different psu.
it is a local brand here in my country..Apexgaming AG-M is mediocore at best. I'd pick a higher quality PSU with such expensive GPUs. Corsair RMx or Super Flower Leadex III Gold for example.

Not recommanded. Molex has one 12v wire while a riser needs 3. With molex you pull 3 times the current through one wire.btw can molex cables really power risers?

NO! 4+4 is for CPU, also EPS is. You must connect PCI-e to the GPU.two 4 + 4 cables which is enough for only two 3070tis

sorry for the late reply. It's about the cables. With 290w I prefer 2 seperate cables to each GPU.
RM850x has 5 sockets for CPU and GPU and they're all the same. Since you don't use a CPU with this PSU you're able to connect 2 more PCI-e cables. Just order 2 extra Corsair type 4 PCI-e cables so you have 5 of them. One to the risers and two seperate cables to each GPU.
