Can a 760g chipset handle a gtx 970

Okay so I am getting a new gtx 970 butt graphics card is a 760g chipset, will that effect performance? Or will it just not be able to handle my graphics card? But if I get the graphics card I can upgrade my motherboard but 4 months after I get it

760g chipset can run it fine. if anything would be a bottleneck it might be the processor.
