Hey, just wondering if it's possible to take one of the new 800 mhz HT processors and run it at a lower FSB? Is the HT supported by the proc if you run it at a lower fsb speed? I've just bought the Gigabyte 8INXP mobo, and corsair 3200 CL2 DDR. The mobo says it supports HT, but the only HT processor running at 533 FSB is the 3.06 ghz. I wanna do the Hyperthreading for cheap, so i was wondering if i can take a intel 2.4ghz 800 FSB and overclock my mobo so that both are running at somewhere between 150-175 FSB. I know that this mobo has bios settings that go up to 200, but this is just a conservative guess as to how far i should be able to OC and be stable. I realize that my proc will be running at 1.8-2.1 ghz, but im cool with that for now. When intel decides to drop their prices on the higher speeds, i will upgrade to one of their 3+ghz procs, and with the same mobo, i should be able to get at least 2.25-2.625 ghz.

***note: I really suspect i might be able to go all the way to 200 mhz fsb with my mobo, and in that case, i will be running the proc to spec
