Can a 980ti run 2 monitors at once

Ok so I want to have 1 4k monitor for gaming and 1 secondary one (1080p)for looking things up or watching the chat during streams. So the question is will I need 1 980ti, 2 980s or 2 980tis. Personally I would like to use a single 980ti, but if it won't have enough horse power that it will need 2 980s, unless of course it needs so much power that it needs 2 980tis. Thanks

Yes you can use 1 980 for 2 monitors.

One 980 ti is barely enough for a single 4k monitor, although, you can use a single 980 ti and lower the in game settings for both monitors

If you want to use the card for 2 monitors on high settings utilize the Display port. For more then 2 monitors it is required that the Display port be 1 of the active connection, the DVI can only support 1 monitor hdmi 1 monitor, there are 2 DVI ports but they are linked so they count as 1 display output, best scenario is HDMI 1.4 and Display port for best resolution.

Utilize the Display port on your best monitor as it will yield the best results. You can also connect multiple monitors to 1 display port.
