Can a Asus P8H77-M compatible with a GTX 970?

Yes, there will be no problem at all motherboard compatibility wise. The specs as state above would also help to clarify the rest (Bottlenecking to if your power supply can handle it)

500w may be recommended for 970 as it a very efficient but still it requires 2x6pin pcie power cables. what is it exactly?

Depending on the GTX 970, some only require one 8 pin or 6+2 Pin power connector. Others require one 8 pin (or 6+2 pin) and one 6 pin

With the PSU please list make/model.

yes 145w tdp can be achieved by either 1x6+2pin or 2x6pin pcie cables. pre overclocked non reference 970 may require even more.!

looks like a new product according to realhardtechx. has dual rails of 432w it will run your setup however i would keep overclocking at minimal levels on both cpu and gpu.
