Can a Corsair GS 600W be mounted to the bottom of the case?

This may sound stupid, but can you install a Corsair GS 600W PSU on the bottom of the case? Should I install it at the top or the bottom?

Solution
The case you have will determine where the PSU should be mounted. Cases with bottom-mounted PSUs normally have holes or a grill on the bottom so the PSU can draw in cool air from beneath the case. If it does not, the PSU must be mounted "upside-down" (which is not a problem) with the fan UP. If the PSU is able to draw air from beneath the case, make sure not to place it directly on carpet, which may muffle those holes; put it on a piece of wood or fiberboard.
It is especially important for the Corsair "GS" (and "CX") PSUs to get good airflow, as their Samxon capacitors degrade quickly when heated.

Thanks, I wanted to know because I am wanting to rebuild my pre built Lenovo K430 Desktop into a new case.

The specs are:

i7 3770
16GB RAM
GTX 770
GS 600W PSU

Is it worth rebuilding it into a new case. Its used as my primarily gaming platform. My GTX 770 only just about fits in my current case with only 1 cm gap.

I just want a new one in general because this one looks too slim and I'd like to get better airflow and be prepared for future upgrades. Worth it?

I was thinking about buying the NZXT Phantom 410 Case.

According to Speccy, my Motherboard runs at 65C. Is that safe?

How do I check the tempreture with that program is shows different readings for Mainboard.

A mainboard may have multiple sensors on it. HWMonitor will show what it can read.

An upgraded case (e.g. the 410) will no doubt offer better cooling than the stock one, if only because you can add more fans. When adding fans, keep in mind the goal is to create flow through the case, not just increase the noise.

Would you recommend any other mid ATX cases other than the 410? Preferably cheaper if possible.

So, personally would it be worth the money? I might be getting a GTX 970 soon.

I have a 2GB GTX 770 and hoping to get a 4GB GPU instead.

Adding VRAM may help in some titles at higher resolutions. Once again though, it is probably only worthwhile if you are observing performance problems now, or know that some title you mean to get definitely benefits from the additional memory.
