Superflower isn't even better than FSP. In the industry Superflower is actually a Tier 3 manufacturer because they outsource so much production since their facilities are small. Pretty sure FSP would be like tier 2.

Jonnyguru put it best: Superflower and Seasonic have great engineers, but they don't have the resources of Chicory, Delta, HEC, Great Wall, CWT, and probably FSP. Believe it or not all those are considered higher tier in the industry, that is, which isn't necessarily indicative of the performance of the PSU but is can be indicative of the quality control of the manufacturer.

I'd have to recheck the Tom's review of the 750GQ but I think there are equivalent 550W units with better protections and are quieter. It's been like months since I've seen the review so I'd have to check.

I'd rather have like an RMx honestly.

You're looking at around 300W max draw at stock, a little more OC'd.

A quality 500W offering would work just fine.

I see a GQ750W for ~$90 today.

A 550W G3 would be more than sufficient.
