Can a fan controller (hardware not software) take up the slot where optical disc drives go?

I was thinking of getting a fan controller and temperature sensor for my computer, and I was wondering if it is possible to get one that fits in the same place as an optical disc drive. It would be really convenient if that could happen

Thanks that looks really nice, but will this fan controller be better? It has more options which I like quite a bit.

Have you seen the ones I posted? NZXT is a pretty good brand for compuer accessories and the prices are pretty much the same to the one you posted.

well. all are pretty much same. go for which ever you like better.
