Can a full ssd/hdd cause pc freezing/blue screen?

I recently have had problems with my ssd crashing on me. I never paid attention to how full it was until I saw it was hovering at under a gig of space left. Can this cause my pc just to freeze up/bluescreen? The ssd has the os on it fyi.

It can definitely cause problems. The general rule of SSD usage is that you keep 10-20% of the drive space free for optimal performance. Have you tried turning off Hibernation and deleting Restore points to reclaim some space? You could also try reducing the size of the page file.

When a ssd is filled to capacity it will stop working. You might still be able to access saved data but that's about all you would be able to do.

The general rule of thumb is to leave at least 10% of the disk space free.

Alright so I have freed up about 80 gbs by moving it to my hdd but the other day I had another freeze, it really only happens when I have a game up. My drivers have been re installed a few times and I have even tried to rollback to older ones. Still the same thing. Any ideas?

Any particular game or just games in general? Any error messages?

It does happen during both bf3 and bf4 a good amount of the time, but I just had it happen to Shadow of Mordor as well as when I go to the store on LoL. It only happens about once a week give or take a few times, It's not my temps and I don't think it's my specs. Really weird
