So when you connect a pci e cable to your motherboard the cpu ram mobo and psu get f*cked. What happens to the gpu though when you also connect the cpu connecter into it
Yes there is. The pcie and cpu eps is not compatible. However modular power supply sometimes have same output port so that you might accidentally put a pcie cable into the eps port.
By spec. The square and key pattern are different, but sometimes a manufacture puts all keys ( no square) hence that will cause huge issues. The 12 v is reversed in eps vs pcie. It will fry we you have unless your card is equipmented with some secondary safe guard system.
