I recently got a Lenovo Legion Y520 with 16 GB of RAM and a 1050ti. I'm hoping to get the new fallout 76 by Christmas. Im wondering if my computer is able to handle the game at medium to high settings.

Solution
To contradict everyone, yes, it should run the game just fine on medium settings. It is using an enhanced version of the same engine used in Fallout 4, so if you can run Fallout 4 well, then you should be able to run 76 acceptably. I was running Fallout 4 on an R9 270X on high settings, and it is right about the same speed as the mobile 1050 Ti. I could run the game on highest settings if I turned off shadows.

The thing about 76 is that it isn't going to be graphically revolutionary. It is going to be like running Fallout 4 with mods. There will be some performance loss vs 4 thanks to the enhancements, but it won't be drastic. Medium settings on a 1050 Ti should be attainable.
