can a gtx 750ti increase performance in photoshop, auto cad, catia,3d model making software ?

can a gtx 750ti give my pc a feel of workstation ....
specs:
i3 540 @3.7ghz
4gb 1333mhz ram
1TB hdd
gtx 750ti (buying)
and please explain me the diff in workstations and normal gaming pc ... i mean little bit cleareance

no you need a quadro series card like a k2200 that has the rigth drivers for the rendering and CAO software.

so the 2 cards may look similar but the firmware and drivers will be different.

The three things you need for AutoCad, Catia, Photoshop, Modeling, are 1) Fast processor (i7), 2) Plenty of RAM (8 GM or more), and 3) High end graphics card.

Without these, regens will be slower in Cad, and tools like 'Clone" will run slower in Photoshop. They will work, but slower. Gaming will be fine.

Here you can see what the GTX750Ti can do in professional apps, http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/geforce-gtx-750-ti-review,3750-18.html it is not bad compared to many other even high end cards.
Your biggest problem would be the I3 and 4GB ram.
