Okay so I think this is my motherboard: http://www.hxlstore.com/524518530684.shtml
Now I currently have a GT 730 installed, I was considering to get this GTX 960: http://www.pcworld.co.uk/gbuk/computing-accessories/components-and-upgrades/graphics-cards/asus-strix-geforce-gtx-960-graphics-card-10138184-pdt.html
I am going to try and buy a new PSU as it is only a 220 W. Now what I am asking is will the GTX 960 fit in my motherboard? Do I have a x16 slot? And finally I think it is a 2.0 PCI-E slot does that matter?

Please answer all my questions if you can, any support is appreciated! 😀

Oh really a 2.0? I thought it was a x8 and 2.0 beacuse on CPUID/CPUZ it says like max support x8 and stuff.

This is the thing you see when I open my case it doesn't tell me if its an ATX or what or the make just says max W 220 so...

Unfortunately I am not with my PC atm but I do have these that I took a couple days ago: http://imgur.com/a/f3ZvR
and this one: http://imgur.com/a/LimmE
and this one: http://imgur.com/a/R9NH4

My PSU DOESN'T matter as I will be getting a new one for sure. But these are my specs:

Windows 10 Home 64-bit
Intel Core I5 6400
NVIDIA GeForce GT730 2GB
3TB
12GB DDR3
DVD-Super Multi
Card Reader
10/100/1000 Wireless LAN + Bluetooth

Just out of curiosity how do you know its a x16 slot and 3.0 I have no idea how people know that.

Oh really? Well I definitely have an I5-6400 and this looks exactly like my one :/

This is not an answer to your question but there will be new more powerful gpu's out very soon so maybe it would be good to wail a little more before upgrading now!

Will this work with my motherboard then? I think it's a Mini-ITX not an ATX

Yeah i'm definatly sure and thanks bro also, I have ddr3 RAM dose that mean I have to have gddr3 gpus or can I have gddr5 does it matter?

yeah you'd be better off with an ITX version GPU, i searched pcworld.co.uk but couldn't find any gtx 960 ITX ones so you should probably look elsewehere. ITX versions are the smaller versions with slightly less clocksspeeds to prevent heating in a small case environment. Other speca are the same though

okay so everyone. to sum up everything I have a Mini-ITX motherboard, I am going to upgrade my power supply, and I DEFINITELY have a x16 and 3.0 PCI-express slot. And finally the GTX 960 should work in my PC fine and no bottleneck? Is this all right? Thanks guys

My GT 730 that I currently use takes up the whole slot on my motherboard but I thought a 730 was a x8 card not a x16 what is it x16 or x8 coz if its a x8 card then I must have a x8 slot not a x16 right?
