can a gtx660 run a 144hz monitor

i7 2600k 3.40ghz
16 gb ram
i dont know a lot about pc's but anything would be appreciated

With a dual link DVI or display port connection it will but you won’t see that many frames in games other than esports titles. This is if you’re using a 1080p monitor.

Do u think it will run fine on fortnite ?

If you can settle for the lowest settings you can get about 144fps maybe 120-130 average on fortnite. The RX 570 can be had for about $140 on Newegg and would be a huge step up.

You’d be able to play pretty much any game right now with decent settings and it would blow fortnite out of the water.
