Can a i5-7600 handle 1080ti?

Sorry if this has been answered somewhere but i can't seem to find one. I'm just wondering if a i5-7600 and 1080ti would be a good set up for 144hz as i heard the i5-7600 cant really do 144hz. If anything I'll get the 1080ti still and then just upgrade my cpu further down the line so I can get that part taken care of.

I'm currently using a 144hz monitor but will be upgrading to 4k later on. This is mostly for gaming.

Solution
CPU requirements is more dependent on target FPS. So 4K 60fps is easier on the cpu than 1080p/1440p @ >100fps.

Aiming for 60fps there are a few AAA games which a quad core like yours just cannot hold a minimum of 60 but it will average over 60. If aiming for 100fps or more your cpu will hold you back a lot more.

Yes.

Here is a 1080 chart, but no Ti.

I would suggest getting a 8th grn cpu instead. The 7600 can probably handle the high resolution but if you want to be able to use the 1080ti to it's best. I would suggest a 8600k.
With that you can't really get anything better. The only thing limiting in that cas would be ram or monitor. Happy gaming:)
