Can a motherboard break easy?

Ok, so I may be overreacting, but I just put a lot of money into my computer build. I know the motherboard will fit, it just seems like the I/O shield gets in the way. So I was pushing the motherboard into the shield to get it to fit, bumping it around, and some more bumping, even a screwdriver fell a little bit directly on it while I was screwing a screw in. Do these break easy or am I being crazy?

Solution
they aren't terribly fragile however if you flex it a lot or put pressure on it you could mess up the paths/circuitry. or scratch a trace with a screwdriver. or short it out. or fry it with static electricity. but those are all rare. more than likely its fine if you followed the build guide but you'll find out when you turn it on so....

Thank you! I put it back in the box and waiting for someone to help me so I don't wreck it. I don't have a job (Only 15) so I have like no money to replace it.
