Hello! I am taking my Motorola SBG6580 gateway combo which includes both a router and modem to my new residence. I'm unsure if the new residence will have a coax output or just an ethernet out of the wall. Instead of taking a router, I'd rather cover both bases.
So can I use this gateway combo as a router only? I'm open to changing the firmware, if that's needed.
