So I'm thinking of upgrading from my MSI 970 to a 1080 in the future in order to play games in 4K, and in the trailer for the 1080 it does state that the card will be able to run games at 4k 120hz. However, I would like to know if it will be capable of running games at 4k 144hz?
This may seem a bit picky, but I see no reason to go from the 144hz monitor I have now to a slower monitor once I upgrade to a 4K monitor. Therefore, I need to know if the 1080 can run 4K games at 144hz.
