I thought about getting a 1440p monitor. Can a PowerColor Radeon R9 270 2GB TurboDuo graphics card handle gaming with such a monitor?

I did some research, but opinions seem to vary quite a bit. Most people agree that turning down AA helps grapics cards that aren't that powerful, but I read different stories about actually determines how well a GPU handles 1440p and couldn't find anybody who has this specific graphics card.

I have seen that exact card push 6.2 million pixels (3x1080p monitors) on some older games. So 3.7 million shouldn't be a problem, but expect mostly low to medium settings on new games to keep frame rates comfortable, but higher settings on SOME games isn't unreasonable. 2GB isn't ideal lately for higher resolutions, and can even struggle at 1080p on some new games with high settings. I recommend looking into a 4GB version of a R9 380 or GTX 960 to handle 1440p comfortably.
