Hi is there any way you can upgrade a Qualcomm Atheros AR8152 PCI-E Fast Ethernet Controller (NDIS 6.30) to run at a 1000Mbps. Currently it looks like it is a 10/100, Surely there must be a way to get it to 10/100/1000, otherwise its a new desktop....

Help please

The is indeed a Fast Internet adapter, which means a top speed of 100Mbps. You cannot make that adapter run as a gigabit adapter but you can replace it with a compatible gigabit adapter. I assume that this is in a laptop so you would need a USB LAN adapter like THIS ONE. If you have USB 3.0 ports you could go with USB 3.0, but that USB 2.0 will do fine.

If it is a desktop then an Intel PCIe gigabit adapter would be the way to go.
