Can a single Prometeia cool 2 processors? Is it able to remove the heat fast enough? Do we have to make the splitting of the tubes overselves?

Well, I know the Hydra (by Cooler Express) can cool a CPU and both GPUs in an SLI setup. However, apart from that unit, I've not seen one with any kind of a multiple socket capability.

It is possible for a Prometeia to cool 2 procs., however you would have to do A LOT of mods to it. You would have to split the suction line, and the cap tubes, get a stronger compressor, get a much larger desuperheater, and an extra evap. It wouldnt be cheap. Even then, you likely wouldnt get great temps on a SS, depending on the processors.

If you want a phaser that has 2 evaps, you would be best off going to XtremeSystems and talking to a builder there. They could build you one.

Also, you plan on using a Prometeia or Vapochill on a quad, hoping for high OCs, you might as well just forget about it simply because they cant keep temps that low on that much heat.

if you got the cash for a skulltrail you can put one phase change unit on the top of the case and one on the bottom, besides if this is for gameing a good core 2 duo at 5ghz (easy with phase change) will beat the skulltrail hands down.
