can a sudden power outage (power loss) damage the PC ?

I was playing battlefield 4 and a sudden power outage happened
my pc is connected to my UPS (SINUS )
but this time my pc shut down I don't khnow why
usually my pc stay on after a power loss because it's connected to a ups
but this time it shut down

can that cause any damage to the motherboard RAMS cpu etc ?
I have i7 6700k
gigabyte z170x gaming 5
seasonic G650
and a high quality SINUS UPS

What size is the UPS? WHere you were gaming the system was under load and if the UPS is a smaller unit it may not be able to handle that load so the system shutdown.

Always helps to have power conditioner/surge protector between the wall socket and the PC, too. Just to be sure.

Every few years you have to change out the batteries for UPS's.
Its also smart to have a surge protector before the UPS for additional protection.

The UPS is only 9 month old also when the power outage happen while the pic idle my pc stays on but yesterday I was gaming when the power outage happened and the pic turned off and then restart
