Can a UPS fix PSU buzz?

I've heard stories of people hearing a significant difference in the noise their PSU makes when plugged into a UPS but I can't find a lot of threads on it. Anybody know if it works or not?

It's the reverse; it could cause buzzing if it isn't a pure sine wave UPS.

A UPS(uninterruptible power supply) just supplies power to your psu and any other devices you have connected, and they have no fancy software or hardware that could stop your psu from buzzing. If it is very important then you should just get a new psu. You should check sites like newegg.com and tigerdirect etc....

If your city-power is very dirty, and your UPS is a pure-sine-wave one, it may help, otherwise it won't.
