i know this is a noob question but i'm trying to figure out a way to solve a problem with my and i can't seem to find a answer. my problem is i just got a computer from NZXt's service and although they did a great job with the cable management its nearly impossible to get to the PSU to add another sata chain. i do have access to their USB hub and i wanted to know if i could run a molex to sata splitter on a USB port.
if that's not feasible my second solution was just to get a USB to sata adapter like the ones in external hard drives but i'm concerned that i would not be able to run programs off of it like a normal sata drive. the drive i'm planning on using is a crucial mx500.
