[SOLVED] Can a velcro tape damage your electronics?

Does it leave any residue when removed? and is it safe to use it on hdd or ssd?

Depends on what you buy, but chances are it will leave something behind.
It should be perfectly safe for an SSD, I would not use it on an HDD though, that should go into a caddy/mount

For over a year I had 2 SSD's duct taped to the inside bottom of my case until I picked up an adapter to mount them both in a 3.5" bay. LoL

HDD should be fine as long as you don't adhere the velcro the the circuit board. You do want to be careful about it coming undone either by weight of the drive or heat from the drive softening the glue.
