Hello guys, i will be building my pc and i wanted to ask that will voltage stabilizer be enough to protect my pc from power surges and unexpected power breakdowns?
Depends on your power supply. Some UPS don't produce a good enough approximation of an AC sine wave for some of the newer power supplies to treat them as good power.
You'll see good UPS advertised with terms like pure sine wave or full sine wave. These should work with all computer power supplies.
You should look into a UPS instead of a voltage stabilizer.
we have a ups at home but its a little different from the standard ups people use for computers. Will it work if I plugged the power supply to this ups? or would i have to buy a ups that is specifically designed for computers?
