Can Acer Aspire 5520 support KVR 800 Ram?

Hello guys....i have a 512mb of DDR2 KVR 667 on my Acer Aspire 5520 Notebook....as it is terribly slow...i was planning to upgrade it to a 2GB KVR 800 ram....so the problem is whether my Laptop can support it??.....can the KVR800 ram fit onto my Laptor....i need fast responce.....thanks

Correct, the Aspire 5520 series does not support 800MHz ram.

Ok....hw bout running kvr800 on Acer Aspire 4315...has anyone tried it or sumthin....coz some websites says it works even though its not stated on the kingston website.....Can Windows 7 Hoem Premium be installed on this machine.....Thankx

If i insert a KVR800 Ram....will my laptop run at the speed of 800Mhz or 667Mhz?

the 4315 will work at 533 and support up to vista http://support.acer.com/acerpanam/notebook/0000/Acer/Aspire4315/Aspire4315sp2.shtml when you put memory of higher it will only work at max speed supported by the system,momory supported by this one http://www.crucial.com/upgrade/Acer-memory/Aspire+Notebooks/Aspire+4315-upgrades.html
