Can AMD Athlon II X2 270 run games with GPU NVDIA Geforec Galaxy GT 610?

Hi All,

I have a Graphics card NVDIA Geforec Galaxy GT 610 2GB and I want to upgrade my CPU from sempron 140 to AMD Athlon II X2 270.My pC has 4 GB of RAM.Can I run the latest games or games with high graphics content with AMD Athlon II X2 270 and NVDIA Geforec Galaxy GT 610.
If I can't,can you guys please tell me if AMD Phenom II 560 is good for gaming? I want to know if AMD Athlon II X2 270 with NVDIA Geforec Galaxy GT 610 2GB is good for gaming or not.Please help me.

Unfortunately upgrading your CPU won't help much in games... if at all. The reason for it being your graphics card being a very low end card.

If you wanted to play modern games on high setting as you suggested then you will have to upgrade both your CPU and GPU.

If you tell us what's your budged and what's the rest of your system (PSU, HDD etc.) we could try and suggest something.

I don't want to upgrade my GPU since I already spent lot on it.I just want to upgrade my Processor so that it run faster and I can be able to play some games.Below are my current system specs.Please suggest me a CPU with affordable budget that can run games.

Get any AM3 Athlon II X4 quad core cpu or Phenom II X4 would be even better.
