[SOLVED] Can AMD FX 4300 work without additional power supply?

I have some parts from my old computer and i only need a new hdd so i am planning to build a new computer from those spare parts. My question is, i got an FX-4300 as cpu on a gigabyte 970-Gaming but my psu does have a 6pin cable for additional power supply on the motherboard, can fx 4300 work without additional power from the psu? My power supply: lc-8460btx its about 6 years old.

That motherboard has an 8 pin and a 24 pin, both of which are mandatory.
The 24 pin is on the right, and the 8 pin is the top left of the board.

no 6 pin.

That power supply it just garbage do not try to use it with what you have listed.
You will also need a video card.

That computer in general is just not anything I'd put any money into.
It's as basic and old as they come.
