Can an asus gtx 750 ti support a 144 hz monitor?

it depends, if your graphics card has a HDMI port, then yes, but that Card wont be able to output 144 frames you know. But it will still work. The 144hz means the screen can show upto 144FPS, SO i f you have a beast rig, and your getting 300fps in game, you will only be seeing 144fps, cause the screen can only output 144.

But if your running at 50fps, no Problem all good.

So by seeing more fps will it decrease lag? Also is the picture quality a big difference? I get more than 60 fps in game so will the quality look better regardless?

Now quality is a different thing, Quality depends on the resolution of the Screen, and what settings you use in game.

If your screen is 4k then you will lose lots of frames, cause the 750ti doesnt have enough power to output to 4k, but you can output to 4k if you turn the in games settings to low.

But for 1080p you should be fine with medium settings.
