i've had this TCL Branded HDTV for awhile as a Display (was looking for something for use along w/ game Consoles.) it's a TCL 55S431 (TCL Web listing https://www.tcl.com/us/en/products/...lass-4-series-4k-uhd-led-smart-roku-tv-55s431 )

i JUST had it serviced for something afraid Might Just come back. it supports 1440p30hz but not @ 60hz (and it bothers me how laggy it feels on the supported 30hz mode). I've had a Custom Resolution w/ should be correct timings for 60Hz at this resolution. 5 months after running it this way it started flickering, (screen would go black, windows would make a Disconnect/reconnect noise as i'd know only when having headphones on) and only did it when connected to Anything over HDMI, its Smart TV Functions were unaffected.

it's only done this once since having it serviced, (though i cant tell if it was windows in the background updating something.) because when it came back after 4 seconds it went right back to it's native 4k 60hz Resolution. i've Specifically been using this Resolution as its a good balance between performance & screenspace, and just starting to worry if this is somehow Causing the problems the TV once had.
