Can and Should I put a GTX 1050 on a true rated 240W PSU System?

I'm planning to buy a GTX 1050 for a prebuilt system that I have with these specs:
- Intel Core i3-3220
- 8GB DDR3-1600 RAM
- HGST Sata 500GB HDD
- 240W True Rated PSU
- I don't know the motherboard because but it uses a 4-pin connector for the CPU and a 6-pin connector for the MoBo.

I can't replace the PSU because the PC is unique and I see some cords on the PSU not present on a standard ATX PSU.

First, I would like to know if it is possible to game on it? If it would *just work* and game.

Second, if I can, would you recommend me to do it? Assessing the risks and possibilities. If not, which GPU would you recommend for me? RX 460? RX 550? GTX 750 Ti?

Third, can I somehow find a way to make any ATX PSU on this motherboard?

I just recently went and bought The Evil Within 2 and I want to play it, even if it's not constant 60fps on high settings.

Well I'm seeing people running 1050s in elite 8100/8200/8300 sff models so I'll have to say yes mate.

You're obviously looking at one of the few low profile models available ?? Because a full size won't fit.

& you need to update to the latest board bios or it simply won't run at all.

But , apart from that yeah it looks like you should be good.

I have a Gigabyte low profile 1050Ti 4GB in a HP 400G1 SFF machine.
PSU is 240W and i have no issues at all, even with cooling in SFF case while maxing out GTA V.
My specs: i5-4570, 750GB SSD+1TB HDD, DVD-RW.
