No. The GPU chip is the same across every R9 270X. The only difference is the third-party cooling solution and output signals.

I'm pretty sure we've established that gpuboss is crap. If the R9 270X is only 0.1/10 better in gaming, then they're the same. Let's just call that the margin of error. And the other synthetic benchmarks mean nothing when it comes to gaming.

I think gpu boss gives a great quick view. It saves endless discussion and examples of how a different game you get different results etc etc.

I believe the R9 270 is a rebrand of the HD 7870 and the R9 270X is a rebrand of the HD 7870 XT. Or was it the GHz version? Either way, the R9 270X is better.

I understand, but the data is not accurate. If you posted that and the GTX 660 is even somewhat less expensive, no one would buy the R9 270X for that measly 0.1 performance increase.
